Our Story – The Passion Behind NordicCourt
Promoting outdoor play and active lifestyles has always been one of our core missions and personal passions.
Sports and outdoor games have brought people together all around the world. The moments, laughter, and experiences shared through play often lead to friendships and memories that last a lifetime. Outdoor activity not only builds a sense of belonging but also provides a foundation for social growth and community spirit.
At NordicCourt, our goal is to continuously develop and improve environments that inspire movement, play, and togetherness — both outdoors and indoors — for everyone from everyday enthusiasts to professional athletes.
Today, we provide high-quality sports environments, durable court surfaces, and reliable equipment and accessories for sports, recreation, and physical education.
Our flagship product is the Pelix Multisport Tile©, designed and manufactured in Finland from recycled plastic. It proudly carries both the Design from Finland and Key Flag certifications, awarded by the Association for Finnish Work.
We have delivered unique sports facilities across Finland, including:
A 3×3 basketball court at Kisakallio Sports Institute
A multi-sport yard for Haapavesi School Center
An off-ice hockey training area at Piispala Youth Center
A multi-game rink at Ilmarinen School in Lieto
A 3×3 court in Seinäjoki Traffic Park
Multiple private home courts nationwide
We also built a portable and reassemblable 3×3 basketball court for Heinola YMCA, which has been featured at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, Narinkkatori, Vimpeli Saarikenttä, and Jyväskylä city center during the summer of 2022.
